Product Manager for Reedsburg, WI water treatment company, requires two years’ experience:

• Working with water treatment systems in residential, commercial, and industrial applications
• Managing coordination and integration of technical activities relating to production of all water treatment products
• Supervising work of an engineer who prepares product specifications;
• Selecting and collaborating with a team of experts including chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, and software development engineers to develop innovative water treatment technologies
• Conferring with management to establish technical goals for each product
• Analyzing employer’s current products for quality, performance, and serviceability and finding ways to improve efficiency and durability of each product
• Assessing new product feasibility by analyzing technology and required financial and material resources
• Setting and monitoring product standards & examining raw materials to ensure quality finished products
• Working with engineer to design equipment modifications to improve efficiency and durability of products
• Sourcing and visiting foreign manufacturing partners’ facilities to review their internal capabilities and ability to deliver quality products on budget and on time
• Conferring with marketing department to develop digital assets with accurate project specifications
• Monitoring inventory levels to ensure consistent supply of component parts and finished products are available to meet customer demand
• Staying abreast of product innovations and new technologies in water treatment industry and determining potential areas for new product development
• Preparing and presenting budget for new products to senior management team

Telecommuting within U.S. is permitted with travel to Reedsburg, WI 1 week out of every 8 weeks minimum. 50% domestic and international travel.
