Water System Operator – Production/Assembly

This person will be responsible for assembling, filling, and packaging water softener and filtration assemblies. Duties include media filling, tube cutting, valve assembly, testing, skid assembly, and labeling in a clean and organized production environment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Assemble tanks and internal tubing per work instructions, engineering drawing, job traveler and pick list.
• Operate vacuum systems to fill tanks with resin, gravel, or carbon.
• Measure, cut, and deburr plastic tubes to specification.
• Inspect and clean tanks prior to filling and final packaging.
• Apply caps and labels to completed tanks.
• Assemble and wrap skids for multi-box systems with correct labeling and protection.
• Operate pallet jacks and use basic hand tools.
• Follow safety and quality procedures at all times.
• Support other contract manufacturing assembly as required.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. (team lifting or assist devices required for heavier items).
• Comfortable working on your feet and using hand tools throughout the shift.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and good attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team environment.
