Hankscraft Congratulates Annual Scholarship Winners

Hankscraft is pleased to announce and congratulate two local students as recipients of its 2025 annual scholarships. Dylan Gardner and Kendall Heath, both graduating seniors from Reedsburg Area High School (RAHS), were selected as this year’s scholarship winners. These students have demonstrated dedication to their academic and personal growth and have exciting goals for higher education and career paths.

Supporting the Next Generation

Hankscraft, along with its partners in the scholarship foundation, awards these annual scholarships to passionate students with promising futures from our local Reedsburg community. The scholarship program aims to foster success in these individuals, kick-starting their education with financial support.

“Hard work has paid off for these students, and we are proud to invest in their future,” said Kristi Brown, Vice President of Finance and Administration at Hankscraft Inc. “Congratulations to our scholarship recipients — their dedication is very inspiring.”

Dylan Gardner, recipient of the two-year scholarship, plans to study Criminal Justice at Fox Valley Technical College to pursue a career in law enforcement. Dylan was active in planning and attending events with the RAHS Fishing Club and Archery Club. He completed a youth apprenticeship program with Addison Machine Engineering in his senior year, learning valuable skills for his future career. As an avid outdoorsman, Dylan was active in youth trap and skeet shooting teams, including the RAHS Clays Team where he competed in state championships for all five participating years, and lettered in varsity for four years. Dylan brought his passion for trap and skeet to the Sauk County Youth Shooting Team for eight years, where he learned the sport and many life skills.

Kendall Heath, recipient of the four-year scholarship, plans to attend Winona State University to pursue her passion for Psychology and begin a career in mental health. Kendall has been a standout athlete in both volleyball and track at RAHS. She lettered for three years in varsity volleyball, won Defensive Player award for three consecutive years, and earned Second Team All-Conference. She played in club volleyball teams outside of school for five years, serving as team captain and earning Best Hustle and Best Libero awards. In Track, Kendall served as Team Captain, won Most Valuable Player for two years, and was awarded Freshmen Rookie of the Year. She attended state Track and Field competitions for the 4×100 race freshmen year. Kendall gained work experience in customer service at Walmart and Lands’ End.

Carrying on a Tradition of Giving

2025 marks the tenth consecutive year that Hankscraft, in partnership with Sound Devices and the Markos Foundation, has awarded scholarships to deserving Reedsburg high school students. Over the past decade, Hankscraft has contributed $50,000 to the scholarship program to support the higher education of local scholars.

Scholarship recipients are selected through a panel review process that evaluates academic performance, extracurricular involvement, work experience, and leadership potential.

Hankscraft extends its sincere congratulations to Dylan Gardner and Kendall Heath and wishes them continued success in their educational and professional endeavors.
