Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Hankscraft Inc., a leading contract manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, responsible for the oversight and functions associated with quality assurance at our facility in Reedsburg, WI and assisting with quality assurance at our facility in Suzhou, China. The Quality Engineer ensures that quality systems align with and support Hankscraft’s goals and objectives.

• Develop and implement work instructions, procedures, control plans, and testing plans.
• Assure products meet internal and external quality requirements
• Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding non-conforming products
• Assist with improvements to Quality Systems
• Work with Engineering to ensure that new products are designed and developed with appropriate quality considerations

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Creative mind, bringing new, exciting, and practical ideas.
• Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required. This role requires working across the company, working in teams, and working independently.
• Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Quality, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical) or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 3 years quality assurance experience
• Some travel domestically and to China possible
• ISO experience is a plus
• Six Sigma experience is a plus
